Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in the city of Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes, along with Krauss, were amongst the Grammy Award winners who were among the youngest. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23rd, 1971) is an American bluegrass country singer and musician. Her career in music began in the early years, competing in local contests before when she was 10 years old and making her first recording when she was 14 years old. In 1987, she released her solo debut album after signing with Rounder Records. Then, she was invited to join Alison Krauss Union Station, which is the group she performs together. The first album she released in a group with this band was released in 1989.
