Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron
Allison Stokke one of the pole vaulters with the most riches in the world was born on 22 March 1989, in Newport Beach California United States. A photo of her track meets at 17 was a viral hit in 2007. It made her a pole vaulter. Instagram and Twitter has helped her grow an enormous social fan base. She is an athlete who is on the same track as Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times reported, along with other publications it claimed that Stokke has never sought such public attention. The authors of their work Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society Brett Hutchins and David Rowe linked Stokke's case to that of American soccer players Alex Morgan and Hope Solo female athletes who were fetishized and were seen as having their images being framed in a manner that, as the authors stated, devalued their achievements in sports. Regarding Stokke they also observed that comments on social media were frequently insulting in nature and blamed the sexualization process on the women themselves. Some drew comparisons to Brandi Chastain's performance at 1999's FIFA Women's World Cup Final celebration wearing a sports bra where the achievements of women were overshadowed by discussions over their looks. Stokke was taken in New York by a Californian reporter from an online track and event website in the early part of 2007. With Leather, an online sports publication with a lot of male followers, posted comments on the attractiveness of Stokke during the May month. The story was entitled Pole Vaulting: Sexy and Barely Legal. Matt Ufford threatened to file a suit against the photographer, if that image was not taken down. The image and the article had garnered lots of media attention. Stokke quickly earned a following due to a separate website created with images of Stokke doing her thing during his pole vault. Images were then shared across social media, reaching millions of online fans. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957.
