Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American Canadian singer and songwriter. More than 20 albums have been released by her. DiFranco classifies her music under the terms folk-rock and alternative. But it has influences from punk, hip-hop, and jazz. Ani diFranco was the first artist to establish her own record label in 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Dante Americo DiFranco. Her father was Italian descent and her mother came originally from Montreal. Ani DiFranco wrote and sang 32 Flavors.
