Lis Wiehl is an American journalist and legal analyst who used to be a Fox News analyst.
She is adjunct professor of Law at New York Law School. In the past, she was an the associate professor at Law University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor as well as National Public Radio. She appeared regularly on The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She graduated from Barnard College with a Bachelor's Degree at the age of 33 in. In 1985, she earned the Master of Arts degree in Literature from the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she received a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past for The US Attorney. She was the legal correspondent of the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as the Chief Investigating Counsel for the Democrats of the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. She was a law professor as a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle which she was the manager of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 until 2001. Wiehl was an analyst for Fox News legal analyst from 2001 to 2017.
